As we, the stewards of Mother Earth, experience a season of climate crisis, the downfall of late stage capitalism, as we witness ongoing genocides - abroad and at home - so many are releasing their belief in our Good Mother, releasing belief and hope for a future.
Our Good Mother Earth needs our partnership. Our stewardship.
We offer this stewardship by listening to her calls, respecting her boundaries, making choices as she guides us to.
Good stewardship requires discipline, ceremony, and taking aligned action.
As Good Stewards, our Mother Earth pours back in to us: giving us the sense of purpose, hope, and faith in the future that we long for. Granting us access to resource and community in ways that we would not have been able to on our own.
In Back to Basics, students receive the tools, technique, and experiential wisdom for returning to an Earth-Honoring Spiritual Path.
An Earth-Honoring spiritual path should be unique to the individuals ancestry and current geography. These tenants offer the tools to discover your authentic Earth-Honoring spiritual praxis.

In our first lesson we dig into honoring the commitment of spiritual devotion, discuss who we are accountable to as practitioners, and consider the impact and implications of our personal and ancestral relationships to Earth.

In our second lesson, we focus on reconciliation to the Land through sympathetic magic paired with material realm action. Students discover how to know when Good Ceremony is needed, and the technique and tools to offer it to our Mother Earth.
Communication beyond Divination. In our third lesson, students learn the value to communicating with Spirits, the Directions, Our Mother Earth, and the elements directly through the practice of trance journeying. We discuss technique and tools for accessing the trance state, how to engage once present, and how to return to our present selves effectively.
Together, we journey to the Spirit Realms to receive messages, instructions, healing, and wisdom directly from the source.
Our first guided journey leads students to meet their animal companion spirit, a spirit guide who accompanies us throughout our journeys to the ethers, and in the world of the living. Our animal companions keep us on the aligned path, connect us to the spirits, and offer us safety and comfort during our journeys.
Our second guided journey introduces us to our Inner Healer, the version of you who is wisest, who strives for right relationship with themselves, with community, and with the land. We receive wisdom & guidance from them on how to reconcile our personal relationships to Earth through ceremony, discipline, and embodied action.
Our final guided journey connects students to an ancestor or group of ancestors who lived well and died well, in right relationship with themselves, their communities, and the Land. From them, we receive insight on ancestral vows or contracts that impaired relationships with the land that we are called to reconcile, and ancestral vows or contracts that we harmonious with the land, that we are called to continue carrying out
I help Campy Queers, Catholic School Rejects, and New-Age Defectors discover authentic, ancestrally-rooted spirituality. While all of my work is rooted in Espiritismo Cruzado, it became clear to me during my many years of spiritual service that folks needed support cultivating spiritual theory & practicum outside of that tradition. After spending time praying and reflecting outside, sitting in the sun, the environment spoke to me and said that it was time to create a system that gives people the tools to cultivate their own intimate relationship with this Good Earth, their ancestors, and their spirituality. From there, Back to Basics was born!
