The following guidelines are applicable to all Moonshadows spaces, including our Discord community, live meetings, and any other online and/or in person space designated as an authorized part of the Moonshadows Membership Community.

By enrolling in this membership, you are agreeing to the following Terms & Conditions:

Community Standards are a way to communicate clear intentions for our space, while also creating guidelines that strive to make that space as safe as possible.

Safety can never be promised in absolutes, and it would be irresponsible and insincere to do so. We can, however, take important steps - as both facilitators and group members - to create an environment that centers empathy, open communication, and mutual support. 

If you witness a violation of our community guidelines, you can report them two ways:

1. Via our member feedback form. You may include your contact information if you would like to speak with Kaitlyn about the situation, or you may submit anonymously.
2. Via private message to Kaitlyn on discord.

Violations of the community guidelines will result in a warning, followed by removal from Moonshadows membership without refund for repeated violations.

The intention of Moonshadows Community is to create an environment that is supportive of member's questions, unique circumstances, backgrounds, and desire for connection to and receiving wisdom from the Good Spirits channeled within this space.

Kaitlyn // Mother of Mystics, the facilitator of this space, is committed the work necessary to cultivate a nurturing environment for all our community members, regardless of race, age, gender, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, level of experience, religion, or other.

Our Community Guidelines are as follows:

Moonshadows members center the voices and safety of our most marginalized members first and foremost

This includes acknowledging and being mindful of the power imbalances that may be present in our relationship to other members. These imbalances of power, within a white supremacist, patriarchal society, include, but are not limited too:

• racial dynamics
• socioeconomic dynamics
• hetero-normative privilege
• age differences
• differing levels of experience to spiritual lineages, wisdom, and information

It is essential that we take these imbalances of power into consideration when engaging with one another within our community discord, our live events, and when and if you are interacting with other members privately, outside of our designated group spaces

Moonshadows members are encouraged to be authentic in their self-expression within this space, acknowledging that authenticity is often messy, and perfection is never required.

With that said, the pursuit of authenticity does not absolve us of accountability for our words and actions. There will be times when members make mistakes, and consequently, cause harm. In these instances, we encourage an openness to receiving in-good-faith feedback, taking accountability, and changing our actions based on what is learned from the experience.

Please refrain from mini-modding and/or policing of other members. If you see or experience something that violates our community guidelines, please reach out via our community feedback form, or send a private discord message to Kaitlyn directly.

Please keep your shares relevant and on-topic. You can review the guidelines for each channel’s topics on the pinned comments inside each channel, and in the discord channel guide in your Moonshadows Member Center.

Please use welcoming and inclusive language when engaging with individuals and the larger community. This includes not using overtly gendered language when addressing the group, and addressing members by their stated pronouns (or kindly asking when uncertain).

Moonshadows members are expected to refrain from participating in and perpetuating harmful ideologies like misogynoir, anti-Blackness, xenophobia, transphobia, homophobia, etc.

Moonshadows members are expected to refrain from misrepresenting our cultural, racial, and spiritual identities to other group members. This include the use of digital Blackface, and claiming lived experiences and/or identities to which we do not belong.

Please show up authentically, by aligning your spiritual practices with your lineages and cultural backgrounds, refrain from misappropriation of practices that do not belong to you, and be open to receiving kind and constructive feedback from our community when you are misappropriating traditions, sacred practices, and ancestral wisdom.

Whether on discord or in live meetings, please be clear about the support you are seeking: to be witnessed without feedback? critique? conversation? affirmation? ideas? feedback? I encourage community members to begin their shares with “Looking for [insert xyz here]”. Having our wishes stated clearly upfront helps the group respect one another’s needs.

Please exercise empathy, compassion, and kindness when engaging with other members.

Hate speech of any kind, violation of other members’ consent, unwanted sexual advances, and threatening or violent language is not tolerated in membership spaces.

Please do not request free readings or healings in this group - this group is for learning, sharing, and asking questions about the course materials and topics related to course materials. There are many professional healers and readers in this group who do this work to support their livelihood, and I encourage you to support their businesses. However, out of respect for all of the healers and readers here, requesting free spiritual labor is not allowed in this group.

When posting in the "Divination Den" channel on discord, please note whether you are sharing without interest in feedback, or with interest in feedback. Please be sure to:

• post a photo of your cards
• note the placements of the spread (if a spread is being used)
• post YOUR OWN interpretation

If you do not include your own interpretation before asking for help, your post will be deleted.

While we absolutely encourage making friends and building authentic relationships with other members, we do have a few important guidelines and suggestions:

• Please do not privately message other members without their consent.
• Please note that Mother of Mystics cannot be held responsible for interactions that happen privately, outside of our authorized, official Moonshadows spaces (ie Moonshadows Discord server, official Moonshadows events) with other members. Engaging with other Moonshadows members outside of authorized, official spaces is done so at your own risk. 
• Practice readings and reading exchanges between members are not prohibited, however they are not endorsed by Kaitlyn or Mother of Mystics. If you exchange readings with another member, Mother of Mystics and Kaitlyn do not take responsibility for your experience. I’m not anti-practice or anti-exchange, but please know that you do so at your own risk.
• Use your digital discernment when sharing sensitive and/or private information with other members, be it on discord, in meetings, or outside of group spaces.

If you are a healer, reader, or spiritual practitioner, you’re welcome to share workshops, services, and other links on the promote yourself thread. Let’s keep this environment spam-free and solicitation-free.

Please do not promote or create spin-off or alternative servers.

Please do not share this server with non-members.

*Active Crisis: The active crisis state is characterized by disequilibrium and normally involves the following: physical and psychological agitation (e.g., disturbed appetite and/or sleep, impaired concentration and problem-solving ability, anxiety, depression, psychosis, hallucinations, suicidal ideation, etc) that is currently and actively happening.

Your payment details:

• Membership dues are automatically charged to your preferred payment method each month. Billing date is determined by your signup date.
• Membership subscriptions can be canceled at anytime via your dashboard. Go to your account settings by clicking your member icon in the top right corner. Within the settings area, go to "billing." From the billing page, you can cancel your membership with one click.
• If you would like to change your membership level, please follow the cancellation instructions listed in the previous bullet point. Then, visit the Moonshadows home page on the Mother of Mystics website, and select the tier you would like to sign up for. Use the same email, and your prior progress will be restored.
